Peggy Webb, 82, of Jones County died Monday following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Campbell will officiate.
Peggy was born in Macon to the late Thomas Watson and Lucille Fourth Smith. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her late husband and father of her children, James Doyle McElhenney and her late husband, Earnest Webb. She was also preceded in death by her late daughter Gwen Adams.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Webb of Gray, GA, her sister, Bivian Conary Royal of Macon, GA, 8 grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great-great grandchild.
