Phyllis Haynes Aldridge, 78, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with George M. Israel III and David H. Israel officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations to Church Home Rehabilitation and Healthcare at 2470 Highway 41N, Fort Valley, GA 31030.
Mrs. Aldridge was born in Burdine, Kentucky, to the late Albert and Helen Haynes. She was retired, having been a Registered Nurse for 50 years and was a member of North Macon Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Marion “Bub” Aldridge; children, Dean (Judy) Aldridge, Dale (Hassel) Aldridge, Susan (Richard) Richmond, David (Carla) Aldridge, Sharon (John) Cantrell, Sandra Aldridge, and Sheryl Aldridge; and five sisters. At $0.77 a word, there are too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to list, but she loved them all.
