Rev. Randall I. Mimbs, 87, passed from this life into his new home with his Lord Jesus Christ. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 11:30 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Len Woodard, Rev. Glenn Burris and Rev. David Smith officiating.
Randall was born in Macon, Georgia to the late LeRoy and Clyde Griggers Mimbs. He was preceded in death by sister, Wynelle Smith. Randall served his country in the United States Army Reserve and he was owner of Kandy Apple Day Care along with his wife, Virginia Mimbs. He grew up in the Foursquare Gospel Church and was pastor of Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church for twelve years. He enjoyed his time working with Snow’s and Memorial Park Funeral Home as a ministry for him. Randall enjoyed having lunch on Thursday’s “Here’s Life”. He was a devoted and loving husband, very proud to be a Major League Dad and was a proud pop. Randall wants you to know that he was a preacher of the gospel and that he was a good daddy.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Virginia Bass Mimbs of Macon, daughter, Michelle (Lucky) Wyrick, sons, Michael (Debbie) Mimbs, and Mark (Tammy) Mimbs, grandchildren, Kristin Wellman, Taylor (Daniel) Wychrij, Reese Mimbs, Tyler Mimbs, Hudson Mimbs, Amelia Mimbs, Luke Mimbs and Levi Mimbs, sister, Ouida Whitfield and several nieces and nephews.
