Rebecca Gideon, 78, went to be with her Shepherd, Monday, December 3, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2:00pm at The Sanctuary of Macon with Pastor Ron Linville officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Thursday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Rebecca was born in Alto, Georgia to the late Henry Grady Bennett and Agnes Shubert Frances and was preceded in death by her daughter, Scarlett Jan Frank and brother, Earl Bennett. She was retired as an apartment manager and an active member of The Sanctuary of Macon.

Survivors include her children, Calvin (Gail) Bartlett, Robert Mimbs, Angela Howard and Dennis (Leslea) Gideon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Grady Marwell (Faye) Bennett, Elaine Kathy (Ed) Kopanski and William Calvin (Donna) Carr.
