Rebecca Jane Johnson, 75, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Affinis Hospice, 300 W. Clinton St., Suite I, Gray GA 31032.
Rebecca was born in Hazelton, PA to the late William Elliot and Miriam Ruth Eardley Sprague. She was a member of Forest Hills Church of Christ. Rebecca was retired as a RN with the Medical Center of Central Georgia after thirty years of service. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by children; Alan (Angela) Johnson, James Johnson, John (Misty) Johnson, her brother, William “Bill” (Ruth) Sprague, eight grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Halie (Alec) Johnson, Holly Johnson, Jacob (Janette) Johnson, Buddy (Anna) Johnson, Maggie Johnson, Megan Johnson and Cole Johnson, great grandson, Caden, lifelong friend, Gary Lord and several nieces and nephews.
