

Richard D. “Dick” Nable, Sr. 98, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 2, 2026. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Methodist Church. Burial will be held at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeremy Wilson officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210 or Gideons International, 118 S. Smith St., Sandersville GA 31082.
Dick was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late William G. and Margaret Reagan Nable. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly S. Nable, four siblings, grandson Dave Nable and great grandson Tuff Poole. Richard served his country in the United States Navy and was retired from B.A.S.F. as the Automotive National Training Instructor. He was a member of Forest Hills Methodist Church; Grace Sunday School Class and a member of the choir. Dick was a Gideon for over twenty-seven years. He was an avid golfer. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Boonie Nable of Macon, children, Patricia J. Tidwell, Rick D. (Beverly) Nable, Jr., and Robert A. (Rita) Nable, and grandchildren, Richard (Chante) Wright, Michael (Tommisha) Wright, Tyler (Lorilyn) Nable, Jeremy Nable, Ashley Nable, great grandchild, Aaliyah M. Wright.
