CROSBY, MN-- Richard passed away due to complications from early onset Alzheimer's. He was born in 1954 in Albany, GA to James F. M. and Ruth (Butler) Weeks. He spent most of his 61 years in the Macon/Warner Robins area, graduating from Rosa Taylor, then Central High School in 1973, and going on to achieve a Master's Degree in Business from Georgia College in 1980. In 1985 he married, and he and his wife rode to work together every day for 30 years, enjoying their careers together as civilians supporting the Air Force. Richard was proud and happy doing his job and he was a friendly guy who never met a stranger. He retired in December 2011 and moved with his wife to Minnesota. His favorite things in life were any kind of game, sports, and reading, and hanging out with his friends. He is survived by his wife Deborah (Fox) Weeks of Crosby, MN, and his beloved mother Ruth Weeks, of Macon. A memorial service will be held at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery in the Mausoleum chapel at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 20th. Reverend Jimmy Duke will speak.
