Robert “Bob” Tommy Burnley passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home.
Bob was born in Louisville, Georgia to the late Tommy Burnley and Bertha Mae Jenkins and was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Lane and Lutrell Baker. He attended Lanier High School and served in the United States Navy. Bob was a mechanic his entire life and loved working. He enjoyed country music, fishing, food, and was a simple man who loved people.
Survivors include his daughter, Christina Burnley; grandchildren, Hunter, Christa, Sage, and Ally Goodwin; siblings, Ann Brown, Louise McCoy, Jerry Jenkins and Phillip Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.
