Robert Collier, 63, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Opelika, AL. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
Robert was born in Hahira, GA to the late George and Anna Fountain Collier. He was a truck driver who loved the open roads and adventures. Robert was a man of great faith and was a member of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed volunteering and loved his community. Robert’s greatest joy was being a caring and loving dad, grandfather and son. Robert loved his family and always looked forward to their visits together.
Survivors include his daughters: Laura Collier (Michelle) of Warner Robins and Leesa Collier of Macon; granddaughter, Kaylee Collier of Warner Robins; sister, Gail (Joe) McNally of Florida; niece and nephew, Tara Cunningham and Michael McNally.
