Robert Lewis Dawley, 56, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. XXXX officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Robert was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Arthur Dawley, Sr. and Catherine Lee Hicks Dawley. He was of the Baptist faith and was self-employed general contractor. He was an avid UGA football fan and loved his four-legged furry friends. Robert was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his companion of twenty-one years, Laura Molton, children, Bobbi Bush, Mary Denise Bush, and Tommy Warnock, mother, Catherine Dawley, siblings, William Arthur Dawley, Jr., Frederick Wayne Dawley, Stephen Eugene Dawley, Chuck (Tiffany) Dawley, Anthony Lee Dawley, Joseph Edward Dawley, Cynthia (Ricky) Peavy and Deborah Sue Dawley and numerous nieces and nephews.
