Roger Dean Phillips

Warner Robins, GA – Roger Dean Phillips, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Rex Odom. The family will meet friends on Tuesday, November 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, 4335 Confederate Way, Macon GA 31217.

Mr. Phillips was born in Columbia City, IN to the late Chester D. and Harriet DePoy Phillips. He was retired after thirty five years of service with International Harvester Inc. Mr. Phillips was of the Methodist faith and was a very active leader in the Boy Scouts of America for many years. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty eight years, Jacqueline I. Phillips of Warner Robins, two daughters, Jill Marie (Abed) Abushanab of Warner Robins, Judy Lee (Roger) Monteith of Fort Wayne, IN, son, Barry Ford (Lisa) Phillips of Monroeville, IN, five grandchildren, Nadia Hassan of Buford, GA, Saleim Abushanab of Warner Robins, Megan Monteith of Fort Wayne, IN, Jacob Phillips of Monroeville, IN, Sarah Abushanab of Warner Robins, two great grandchildren, Joshua Bone and Sammy Hassan, Jr., and sister, JoAnne Squires of Columbia City, IN.
