Ronald David Cravey, 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
David was born in Macon, Georgia, to the late Rodney Thomas Cravey. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Faye White.
David retired from Armstrong World Industries and was a member of Parkway Assembly Church. He was also a member of the Ocmulgee Gun Club, where he enjoyed skeet shooting, boating, and spending time outdoors. David was a devoted and loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his sons, David (Kristi) Cravey of Lizella and Kyle (Jessica) Cravey of Decatur; his mother, Bertha Lee Cravey of Macon; grandchildren, Brody and Maret Cravey of Lizella; brother, Kenneth (Denise) Cravey of Musella; stepsister, Julie Heideman; and nephews, Joshua Lee (Brittany) Cravey, Jonathan Swann, and Paul (Arline) Kirkus, and the mother of his children, Cherry Lynne Averett.
