Ronald “Ronnie” Hortman, 60, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Theodore Ehmer officiating. There will be a Greek Orthodox Service at 1:00 p.m. Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park.
Ronnie was born in Macon, Georgia son of the late Phillip Hortman and Alexandra Sotiros Hortman. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Ronnie was a truck driver for Van Kampen and has driven over a million miles. He enjoyed watching TV and was a devoted and loving, husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Merri Jo Hortman, son, Matthew Hortman, mother, Alexandra “Aleca” Hortman, grandson, Memphis Cantrell, sister, Angela (Skip) Gorman and nieces and nephews, Amber, Kallyn and Kendall and several great nieces and nephews.
