Ronald Eugene Phillips, 86, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026. The family will have time of visitation on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. in Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 12 noon at Lizella Baptist Church. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Chris Minton will officiate.
Born in Farmington, Georgia, he was the son of the late John B. Phillips and Lizzie Mae Bowden Phillips. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Reeves Phillips and a son, Jeffery Keith Phillips.
Mr. Phillips was retired from Atlanta Gas and Light with 42 years of service, and he was a member of the Lizella Baptist Church, where he attended Sunday school and was involved in many church activities.
He is survived by his siblings, Anita L. Martin, Brenda L. Minter, Arthur H. Phillips (Wanda) and Michael Phillips (Jan); Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Lizella Baptist Church Youth Missions Camps, 2950 South Lizella Road Lizella, Ga. 31052.
Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
