

Rosina P.”Honey” Crutchfield, 90, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Laudis H. (Rick) Lanford and the Rev. Rex Odom will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Black, III, Benjamin Bishop, Donald Arnett, Andy Trimble, Skeeter Spradlin and Ben Bishop. The family may be contacted at the residence of Carol and Bill Freeman. They ask that those who wish make memorial contributions to Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210 or to their favorite charity.
Mrs. Crutchfield, wife of the late Charles E. Crutchfield, was born in Newark, New York the daughter of the late Vincenzo Frank Perri and Maria Crescibene Perri. She served with the U. S. Army during World War II and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Carl Knight, Jr. For many years, Mrs. Crutchfield was an energetic member of Green Thumb Garden Club. Her nickname, “Honey,” completely fit her loving and outgoing personality. She loved to travel, meet and make new friends and she loved her family first, her friends and the patients and staff at Coliseum Med Center where she served as an H2U Volunteer.
Survivors include her devoted family, Wayne (Rhonda) Crutchfield, Carla Black and Carol (Bill) Freeman, all of Macon; her grandchildren, Lisa (Donald) Crutchfield, Brigette (Ben) Bishop, Wayne Black, III, Lori (Phil) Stembridge and Trey (Michelle) Freeman, all of Macon; eight great grandchildren, Brittany, Ben, Blake, Dalton, Madison, Lexi, Megan and Jason.
