

Ruby Jones Marshall, 71, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 surrounded by family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 2:30 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Ruby was born in Fort Valley, Georgia to the late Sam and Blanche Giles Jones. She was a graduate of McEvoy High School and enjoyed going to her class reunions. Ruby was retired from the communications department of Bell South, formerly Southern Bell after many years. She was a former member of Log Cabin Baptist Church, and a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and the WOW Sunday School Class. She was an avid Braves fan, little league baseball fan and enjoyed watching old western movies. Ruby was a loving and devoted Christian mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Donna) Marshall of Bonaire, Lee (Chris) Craven of Thomasville, siblings, Daniel (Jill) Jones of Macon, Everett (Michelle) Jones of Dacula, Lynn (David) Trescott of Macon, grandchildren, Levi (Amanda) Gonzalez, Jordan Hardin, James “Boo” Starling, Seth Crook and Kyah Marshall and several nieces and nephews.
