Ruby B. (Irby) Webb, 91, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor John Strickland officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Webb was born in Eastman, Georgia to the late Sidney Lamar Boutwell and Bessie Mae Beard Boutwell. She had lived in Macon since 1939. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base after 30 years of service, and a tax preparer for H & R Block. She was a member of Wimbish Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by a sister Mildred McGurie, her son Francis S. Irby, a daughter Cecilia Lee McNeely, and a grandson James Daniel Lance II.
She is survived by her daughter; Sharyl (Gary) Lance, daughter in law Susan Franklin Irby, three grandchildren, Kevin (Raina) Lance, Karen (Steve) Gober, and Micheal (Kristi) McNeely and seven great grandchildren.
