Ruby Brasseale Zahnd, 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomaston Road Church of Christ. Burial will be private at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rob Robinson officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomaston Road Church of Christ, 5859 Thomaston Road, Macon GA 31220.
Ruby was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee to the late Elbert “Buck” and Sallie Mae Wilhoite Brasseale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Thomas Eugene Zahnd. Ruby was a member of Thomaston Road Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Nick (Jennifer) Zahnd and Lisa (Glen) Imlay; grandchildren, Jaime (Tommy) Rugen, Allison (Jim) Roberts and Amanda (Kevin) Belcher; and great grandchildren, Hannah and Jesse Poole, Jacob and Dylan Belcher, Daniel and Garrett Roberts and Kassidy and Kelsey Rugen.
