Ruth was born on January 13, 1937 in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Jennie Sorrow Ware and Edward W. Ware. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Rue Ware, a brother, Charles E. Ware, grandparents, Ben and Bessie Sorrow, Mary Johnson.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 70 years, Bill Couch; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Alice Couch; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Rex Kershner; grandson, Rusty Couch; 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Glenn Haskins will officiate.
