Ruth Beverley Smith nee Hogle, born August 6, 1920 in Utica, NY to George Raymond and Ruth Ella Ione Morse Hogle passed from this life on February 10, 2011 in Milledgeville, GA. She was 90 years young and most recently resided in Ivey, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. John Dubose will officiate.
She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Davis “Cal”vin Smith and two sisters-in-law, Norma Dean S. Strafach and Marie S. Ferraro.
Beverley is survived by one daughter, Lynda S. Jackson of Milledgeville, GA, son William Allen Smith and wife Joan of Roswell, GA and son Daryl Calvin Smith and wife Andrea of Riverton, Utah, seven grandchildren Jeffrey Smith and wife Monica of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Smith and wife Angie of Atlanta, GA, Mark Parker of Monroe, LA, Patrick Parker of San Francisco, CA, Kristie Smith and Ashley Smith both of Riverton, Utah, and Matthew Parker and wife JoAnne of Ivey, GA. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren, Ryan Gage and Zachary Cole Stewart of LA, Tegan Claire and Ewan Reed Smith of GA, Jayden Tyler Hicks of UT and numerous nieces and nephews.
