David McGahee, 71, passed away unexpectedly at his residence. Services will be held at a later date. David was born in Los Angeles, California to the late Samuel David and Estelle Corbin McGahee and was a veteran of the Army, serving in the Vietnam War, where he earned a Purple Heart for his service.
David was a member of the Baptist faith and previously worked as a salesman for Trugreen Lawn Care but was retired. He also loved animals, and raised exotic birds and tropical fish.
Survivors include his sister, Eileen (Curtis) Riley; brother, James (Marilyn) McGahee; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Radar.
