My heart is so grieved to learn Sandra went on to be with the Lord. I attended Parkway Baptist with her in the 80's. We had just recently reconnected on facebook. The thing I remember most is how extremly nice and cheerful she was. Always dedicated and excited to be a part of the Church, the Body of Christ. I will pray for the family and close friends who will no doubt miss one so dear.

I don't know any of you but from what I have read from all of you from the guest book Sandra was a true woman of God. It sounds like her spiritual house was in order and she has moved to another home not made by man's hand. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! You all are in my prayers. May God continue to strengthen all of you in the minutes, hours, days, Weeks, months and years ahead.

Sandra was in my home many times as a teenager. Marriage, moves etc. separated us for awhile, but due to the wonders of Face Book we became friends again. She often called me Mom since her real Mother had passed away, and that was a term of endearment that I'll always cherish. We got to spend time together in Chicago at my granddaughters wedding and she had such a good time. She loved my daughter's children as if they were her own. She went to Knoxville to help my daughter during a difficult time when her boyfriend had had a stroke and a brain aneurism. Sharon was all alone and had to make some difficult decisions. Sandra gave up everything, boarded a bus and headed to Knoxville to be with my daughter. She always thought of others first. She will be sadly missed by many , and I am glad she was a part of my life.

Sandra,
My heart is so sad that you left us here but, I know that you are in Heaven looking down on us all. You are loved by everyone and will truly be Missed by all. You will always be in my heart. I love you so much. You are more than my childhood best friend you are my sister. Give Mom and Dad a hug for me. I will see you again one day. Keep looking down on us and keep us all in line. When ever we mess up you just make us go to a wooden spoon. That will gets us. I love you girl and thanks for beeing you.

Mark, Sandra is one of my oldest and dearest friends! She was always there for me when I needed a shoulder. She was sweet, fun loving, giving, understanding, just an all around wonderful person. I always enjoyed our conversations on the phone. I so enjoyed the visit she made to my house. She kept me laughing! I love her like my sister. Sandra will be truly missed by me! God be with you during this time. God Bless You and I will keep you and her family in my prayers.

Mark, We never got to meet you but I have known Sandra & her family for a long time. My family used to pick Sandra, Nancy, Harold & Darrell on our church bus in late 70's - early 80's from Parkway Baptist Church when we were young. She always had a smile on her face & will be missed. Sandra was a very sweet person & she loved the Lord! You will be in our prayers. Richie grew up in the same neighborhood with Sandra. Richie & Glenda(Partain)Atcheson

She's been taken home, to rejoin loved ones who had gone before her, and she'll be waiting for all her friends and family to join her. I had the pleasure of knowing her from "the old neighborhood" and from sharing so many classes in elementary school through high school. She was always quick to smile and encourage others.
Harold, Darrell, and Nancy...you all know how much she loved you and still thought of you as "her kids" as much as she did as her siblings. Mark, nobody has to tell you how much she loved you and enjoyed being your wife. There will never be another one like her!
