Sandra Marie Carter, 81, passed away on Monday October 12, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. William Rand will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service.
Sandra was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elton C. and Bernice Audrey Davis Smith. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Anthony Carter, her granddaughter Haleigh Carter and her fiancé’ Ronald Beckman.
Sandra retired from Marsh McLennan Insurance Agency, She was a member of Southside Community Church and enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and watching Hallmark movies. Above all, she was a devoted and loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished her family.
Sandra is survived by her three sons, Steven Wayne (Georgia) Carter, Daniel Jonathon (Donya) Carter and Jeffrey Alan (Kristen) Carter. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Matthew Carter, Holly (Tyler) Odom, Peyton Carter and Meagan (David) Wenaas. She also leaves her great-grandchildren, Sophia and Hope Carter.
Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of funeral arrangements.
