Born on February 27, 1949, to the late Harold Francis and Loraine Pion Gorman, Sandy lived a life defined by love, generosity, and an extraordinary eye for beauty. As the former owner of a bed and breakfast in Onset, MA she delighted in creating welcoming spaces where everyone felt at home.
Sandy had impeccable taste, effortless style, and a flair for entertaining that was admired by all who knew her. Whether hosting a holiday, a family dinner, or an impromptu gathering, she believed every occasion deserved to be celebrated. It was the thoughtful little touches—the beautifully set table, the warm atmosphere, and the care she put into every detail—that made each event feel special and left lasting memories for family and friends.
Her compassion extended beyond her home through many years of volunteering with animal shelters, reflecting the kindness and generosity that defined her life.
Above all, Sandy was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and loyal friend. Her greatest joy came from the people she loved, and the memories she created with them will continue to be treasured for generations.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Ford of Macon; her daughters, Meredith Maddox, Kathy (Christian) Mulkern, and Jennifer (Theodore) Bukowski; her seven grandchildren; (Emma, Christian, Joseph, Declan, Brayden, Zander & Zoe) and her brother, Stephen Gorman.
Though she will be deeply missed, Sandy’s grace, warmth, generosity, and the countless special moments she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
