Sara K. Oliver

Sara K. Oliver, 80, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will meet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.

Mrs. Oliver was born in Wrightsville, GA to the late Henry and Susie Keyton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Morrison. Mrs. Oliver was retired from the Social Security Administration and was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church and the Joyce Perkins Sunday School Class. Mrs. Oliver was a past volunteer and served on the Advisory Board for Hospice of Central Georgia. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband of sixty one years, William “Bill” Oliver of Juliette, children; Denise Cauley of Macon, Dennis (Susan) Oliver of Macon, Donna Stevenson of Macon, grandchildren; Chad (Melissa) Cauley of Macon, Jade (Ronnie) Thibodeaux of Gray, Ruby (Marcus) Holmes of Gray, Taylor Stevenson of Macon, Hannah (Alex) Wilder of Thomaston, great grandchildren, Payton Cauley, Parker Cauley, Trace Thibodeaux, Mason Holmes and A.J. Wilder, brother; James (Martha) Keyton of Wrightsville, and sister; Patsy Poss of Juliette and several nieces and nephews.
