Mrs. Sarah Salter Howard, 92, passed away surrounded by her family Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at a local hospital after a brief illness. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 am in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sarah was born on September 29, 1925 in Washington County, Georgia to the late Will and Daisy (Etheridge) Salter and was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Howard. She lived all of her life in Georgia except for 12 years in Tampa, Florida. Sarah retired from Robins Air Force Base in 1989 after 34 years of service as a Clerk-Stenographer and was a longtime member of Evergreen Family Fellowship in Warner Robins.
Survivors include her son, Gary LeRoy Howard and brother, Robert A. Causey, both of Bonaire, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
