Sarah P. Sluder, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 11, 2018. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Kinser officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Sarah was born in Logan, West Virginia to the late Milas Blaire Perry and Sarah J. Perry. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Covenant Sunday School Class and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was involved with the Gideons International and was a Scripture Chairman. Sarah was retired from Coliseum Medical Center as a Medication Nurse. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Earl R. Sluder of Macon, sons; David R. (Pilar) Sluder, Mark B. (Lee Anne) Sluder, Stephen E. (Melenda) Sluder, grandchildren; Anna E. Sluder and Preston B. Sluder, great grandchild; Ava Melody Sluder; and sister, Anna Ruth Perry.
