Shelley Cowart Tanner, 38, passed away on March 12, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Shelley was born in Macon on August 17, 1983. She was a graduate of Southwest High School and Georgia College. Shelley was a very passionate person and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed reading, music and traveling. Shelley was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her father, James Ronald Cowart.
Survivors include her mother, Isabel Kent Cowart; daughters, Anabelle and Vanessa Califf; sisters, Jaime Cowart Robichaux (parenting partner, Matt Robichaux), Rhonda Williams and Crystal Whitley; brother, Steven Morgan; seven nephews, two nieces, as well as a large extended family.
