Shirley Ann Griffin, 70, passed away on August 13, 2011 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11: 00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Sizemore officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4770 Sardis Church Road, Macon GA 31216.
Mrs. Griffin was born in Thomaston, GA to the late Arlin Cole and Sara Davis Hudson. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her four children, Teresa (Ronnie) Tompkins of Byron, Rhonda Smith of Byron, Smokey Yates of Macon, and Jeff (Tracey) Yates of Lizella, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren .
