Shirley Harvey Horne, 79, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P O Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
Mrs. Horne was born in LaGrange, Georgia the daughter of the late Hazel McGee Harvey and Charles Harvey. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Horne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. On June 27th of this year, they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
The family wishes to express many thanks for the wonderful care givers, Amber, Mary Sue, Jennifer and Vickie.
Mrs. Horne is survived by her husband, Billy Horne of Macon; daughter, April Rozier of Macon; sons, Eric (Colleen) Horne of Atlanta and Blake (Sharon) Horne of Macon; grandchildren, Sara Glenn, Austin Horne, Brett Rozier, Alex Rozier, Tucker Horne, John Horne, Brenna McClure, and Lainey Bradberry; great-grandchildren, Emery Glenn, Camden Glenn, Jonathan Rozier, Elaina Horne, and Ethan Bradberry; sister-in-laws, Jackie (Lamar) Huff of Macon and Opal Horne of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
