Susie "Granny Sue" Irene Bussell

Susie Irene Bussell “Granny Sue”, 75, passed away on February 6, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bussell was born in Laurens County, GA to the late Charles H. Beasley and Effie Mae Beasley and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Bullard, GA. Mrs. Bussell was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Bussell.

Survivors include her children, Theresa DeMore (Donny) and Wayne Bennett; grandchildren, Anthony Bennett, Jordan Bennett (Tina), Donny DeMore (Hannah) and Ethan DeMore (Katie); great grandchildren, Banks DeMore, Jase DeMore, Emmie DeMore, Shane DeMore, Briggs DeMore, Carson Bennett, Harrison Bennett, Maycee Bennett and Anslee Boss; brothers and sister, Arthur Beasley (Tater), Louise Cumbie (Larry) and Charles Beasley (Diane); several nieces and nephews and extended family.
