Tamika LaShara Blount was born on March 29, 1976 in Macon, Georgia to the parents of Connie B. Maynard and Calvin Middlebrooks. Tamika peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on September 16, 2023 at Pine Pointe Hospice.
She joined St. James at an early age, where she was also baptized.
Tamika’s education began at Waialua Elementary in Hawaii and after returning to Georgia she attended Jones County Middle School and Central High School.
She was a devoted and loving mother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She was a true pet lover of dogs.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Saint James Church, Bradley Georgia. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Rev. Johnnie Sanders officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Nikkesia S. Moore (Jimmy Clark, Jr.); mother, Connie Maynard (Victor); father, Calvin Middlebrooks (Shirley); brother, Brian Maynard (Tiffany); nephew, Bricen Maynard; nieces, Brielle Maynard, Aniyah Payne, and Teyana Payne; a very loving and devoted grandmother, Mrs. Alice Maynard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
