MACON, GA – Thelma Brown Mason, 86, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Randall Mimbs will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mrs. Mason was born in Macon and had lived in Middle Georgia for most of her life. She was the widow of Farries Mason, the daughter of the late Drewie and Lenora Thompson Brown and was preceded in death by a son, William Mason. Mrs. Mason was retired from RAFB and was a former member of Pine Forest Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her daughter, Janis Horne of Macon; son, Randy Mason of Athens; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sisters, Louise Pollard and Shirley Hamilton.
