Clay Bowden officiating. The family will greet friends at Snow’s Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Theodore was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Mildred and Andrew Lisenby. He served his country in the US Air Force and then retired from civil service as a printer/plate maker. In his later 20’s he bought a winning raffle ticket for a 1958 Cadillac, resulting in a nickname that stuck for life, “Cadillac”. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, never sticking allegiance with one team but rather just enjoying the game. He himself had even played semi-professional baseball before hanging up his cleats at 36. Theodore also liked to read his bible, listen to country music, and fish. He was a talented fly fisher, even tying flies together himself. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle.
Theodore is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Jean Lisenby; and siblings, J.D. and Bill Lisenby.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Andy (Susan) Lisenby and Lisa (Lindsey) Spivey; grandchildren, Mik Lisenby (Taylor), Kirsty Coggins (Tommy), Ryan Spivey, Whitney Dempsey (Beau); great-grandchildren, Owen, Abby, and Caroline Lisenby, Stetson Coggins, Carter, Addie, and McKenna Dempsey, Hunter, Audrey, Brynleigh, and Sawyer Spivey; and several nieces and nephews.
