Thomas Allen Canady, 58, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park with the Rev. Keith Claxton officiating. The family will greet friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Mr. Canady was born in Marietta, Georgia. His parents are Cecil and Jane Canady and Betty Riner (Jim-deceased) Link. He was a truck driver and previously worked for several local logging companies. Mr. Canady was a member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed camping and boating with his family. Mr. Canady was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Survivors, other than his parents, include his wife, DeRanna Fullington Canady; daughters, Kasey (Sean) Willis and Sheree (Joel) Scott; grandchildren, Christian Swann, RaeLeigh and Madalene Willis, and Alivia and Gavin Scott; brothers, Robby (Christine) Canady and David (Julie) Canady; and beloved dogs, Sugar and Sophie.
