Thomas Collier “T.C.” Porch, III, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, July 21, 2016. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00am in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, 31204.
Mr. Porch was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Thomas Collier Porch, Jr. and Emily Murphy Porch. He served in the United States Marines and was a salesman with Phillips Petroleum Company for over 40 years. Mr. Porch was formerly a member of Moreland Avenue Baptist Church in Atlanta. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara Harrell Porch; children, James C. Porch, Sr. (Carole), Virginia Lee Mayhue (Monty) and Charles H. Porch; grandchildren, James C. Porch, Jr. (Roxanne), Ashley Bunn (Matt), Matt Mayhue (Delta), Brooke Stanford (Marcus), Thomas Porch and Christopher Porch; and great grandchildren, Landon and Aria Mayhue and Mayson Stanford.
