Thomas "Tom" E. Reed passed on July 14, 2026, at the age of 86, having been born on November 30, 1939, and residing in Macon, Georgia. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00PM Friday, July 17, 2026 in the chapel of Snow's at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with visitation following. Private burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Tom was born in Hardin County, Kentucky the son of the late Zannie Reed and George T. Reed and was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret Reed and Donna Reed and his daughter, Stacy Reed Fox. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd Reed, Paul Reed, Audrey Reed Thomas, and Ann Reed Baker. Tom was retired from Brown & Williamson as a maintenance supervisor and was a former member of Porterfield Baptist Church.
Tom is survived by his children, Carl E. Reed (Leigh), Wanda Reed Mitchell, Greg Harrison (Anita), and Jeff Harrison (Patty); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Jane Reed Brewer, Walter (Sue) Reed and Charles Reed and numerous nieces and nephews.
Snow's at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
