Vernie F. Uber, 80, passed away on April 23, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ingleside Baptist Church Missions Fund, 834 Wimbish Rd, Macon, GA 31210.
Mr. Uber was born in Lawton, OK to the late Edgar F. Uber and Pauline Withrow Uber. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. Mr. Uber was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and the Bowman/Crowley Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Uber was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Uber.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Sydney Uber; children, Derrick Uber, Greg Uber (Rhonda) and Amy Gramling (Steve); grandchildren, Jessica Uber, Chase Gramling (Madison), Ty Gramling, Parker Uber, Pierce Uber, and Ellie Uber; brother, Ernie Uber (Monnie).
