I knew Violet as a young girl. She was a delightful neighbor in Macon. Her sister Gay is a very special friend of mine. I share in her grief of having to say GOOD BY to a sister.

Violet was a dear sweet person.  I was so sorry to learn of her death...I missed seeing her at the last Miller luncheon.  I asked about her that day, was sorry she hadn't come. I received the notice late, so I missed the funeral.  May God keep all her family in his care.

Violet and I became friends in junior school, and graduated from Miller High School together. Over the years we lost touch, but reconnected last year. My greatest joy for Violet was that she belonged to Jesus.

I am so sorry to hear of Violet's passing. We worked together for short time many years ago. Years would go by and from time to time we would run into each other and within seconds I realize that gap in time never happened. She had a wonderful spirit and a genuine heart. To the family of my friend Violet Dubose, she was a formal co-worker but above all she was my friend. I often send her cards and visited her at the nursing home when she was there. Violet was such an inspiration to our special group at 1st Bapt, Gray.  I was constantly amazed at her determination to do, even though she was in pain.  I will miss her, she often gave me a push to do when I got  discouraged.  She leaves many great memories. Dorcas Moore, Gray.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Violet.  I saw her a year ago at the Miller Luncheon and her health was not good then.  We looked for her to attend this past March, as she reported she was in  better health, but missed her when not present. Greetings, It is with heavy heart that I send these words on behalf of me and my family.  Violet was a former co-worker of mine and more like a mother.  She was there for me during a very dark time in my life.  I already miss her but I am comforted by the fact that she knew Jesus and He knows her.
