Vivian Donaldson Blackerby, 84, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. A Celebration of her life will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Craig Walden officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rock Springs Church, 6601 Zebulon Road, Macon GA 31210.
Vivian was born in Metter, GA to the late Mike and Clara Hursey Donaldson. She graduated from Claxton High School and Tennessee Temple College. Vivian was retired as the Food Service Director with Covenant Towers. She was a member of Rock Springs Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” M. Blackerby of Juliette, two sons, Frankie (Andrea) Jones of Milledgeville, Steve (Shirley) Jones of Lawrenceville, bonus daughter, Elaine (Vance) Perkins of Juliette, bonus son, Charles (Dee) Pendley of Roswell, seven grandchildren, Jedidiah Jones, Dylan Jones, Savannah (Jonathan) Wallace, Ian (Isabelle) Jones, Anna (Andrew) Breeden, Kelsie (Austin) Smith, and Phil Jones, great grandchildren, Soren and Aria Wallace, Oliver Jones, Ezra Smith, Thane Jones, brother, Gordon (Gail) Donaldson of Heflin, AL, great nieces, Robin Lynn (Lex) Brown, great nieces and nephews, Joseph Michael and Savannah Brown.
