Walker Glen Comer, 87, of Jones County, Georgia passed away Friday, May 2, 2025. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, and from 1:00 p.m. till service time on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in the funeral home.
Born in Jones County, he was the son of the late Walker and Annette Broach Comer. He was the husband of the late Linda Ann Slocumb Comer.
Mr. Comer was a retired machinist from S & M Machine Shop and went to work part time with Roberts Machine Shop after his wife passed away. In his spare time, he enjoyed drag racing with family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was expecting his first great great grandchild in October.
He is survived by his sons, Stanley Comer (Cheryl), and Keith Comer (Melissa); grandchildren, Kevin Comer (Stephanie), Jessica Kimbrough (Devin), Great grandchildren, Travis Story Jr (Bailey), Alana Comer, Taylor Story, Kamren Comer, Braelynn Waits, and Reign Kimbrough; Brother, Ray Comer (Carolyn), and Sister, Janis Poole.
Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
