Wayne was born to the late Lois Coody Cralley on August 8, 1956 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He spent 10 years in the Army, travelling the world. He had his first child in Germany, Michelle, where he then decided to settle down back in Macon, Georgia. He dedicated more than 30 years working and travelling as a facilities manager for banks throughout Georgia and retired in 2021. If you drove through downtown Macon every year, you would be able to see the christmas tree he put up on top of the BB&T Tower.
Wayne put others first in every situation, with a smile on his face.He was the first one to offer help to his family or a stranger. He was a loving and dedicated father, known as "Mister Mom." There were many times you would see him in the school lunchroom with his kids. Wayne went to every school function that he could. He spent many nights coming home from work, cooking for his kids, making sure their homework was done and quality time was spent. He lost more than a few games of HORSE.
Wayne loved the fall. He would spend every morning, of this season, drinking his coffee on the front porch. He loved nature and you could always count on a picture of the deer roaming around or the sky when the sun was going down. He loved action movies and rock n roll. There were many nights he would stay up listening to his favorite songs. He loved to grill and have a good cheeseburger.
He will be missed every day by his children; Michelle Stephens (Clint), Christina Folsom (Chris), Christopher Cralley, Hope Smith (Allen), and Emma Speck; 6 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; and his life partner and best friend, Jennifer Speck. He was predeceased by his mother, Lois Coody Cralley; and his brother, Richard Paul Cralley.
