Mr. William "Buck" Crosby, 70, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, surrounded by his family. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 3PM, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery and the Rev. Billy Rogers will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6PM until 8PM on Friday evening, December 9, at the funeral home.
Mr. Crosby was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Johnnie Lee Sr. and Ruby Lois Nichols Crosby. He graduated from Dudley-Hughes High School, and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Buck was a member of Round Oak Baptist Church, in Round Oak, Georgia and was an avid bowler, belonging to several teams over the years. He was preceded in death by his three siblings.
Left with his memory are his wife of 46 years, Janice Hardy Crosby; daughter, Denise Spivey; son, Jason (Lore) Crosby; grandchildren, Chelsea Spivey, Landon Spivey, Loren Crosby, Logan Pinyan; great grandchild, Easton Slaughter; lifelong friend, Louis Kitchens; several nieces and nephews.
