Macon, GA- William "Bill" C. Thiel, Jr., 52, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Dingmore officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Thiel was born in Augusta, Georgia to William C. Thiel, Sr. and the late Alice Patterson Thiel. He was a maintenance engineer with Unitech Services and a member of Northway Church. He was a devoted and loving father, brother, son and uncle.
He is survived by his children, William "Trey" Thiel of Forsyth, Christy Nicole Thiel of Macon, Trevor Evan Thiel of Juliette and Madison Kate Thiel of Juliette, father, William C. Thiel of Monument, CO, brothers, Troy (Janice) Thiel of Gordon, Tony (Jackie) Thiel of Butler, sisters, Pamela Marie McMillian of Macon, Twyla (Brian) Hayes of New Mexico, Tiffany (David) Burst of Monument, CO and four grandchildren, Tristen, Austin, Gracie, and Kylie, and several nieces and nephews.
