
William “Bill” W. Kerley, Jr., 83, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at a local nursing care facility. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kerley was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Ford Kerley and by his parents, William W. Kerley, Sr. and Georgia Mae Clinton Kerley and brothers Leon and Charles Kerley. He was born in Knoxville, TN and served with the U. S. Army during World War II and was district manager retired from Dixie Bearing, Inc. Mr. Kerley was an ordained Deacon and was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. He was a member of the Lions Club and a member of the Middle Georgia Senior Golf Association.
Survivors include his son, Chris (Ann) Kerley of Augusta; his daughters, Ginger Gochenour and Sirena (Shawn) Fritz, both of Macon; his stepdaughters, Linda (Mike) Fuller and Kathy (Stuart) Brown, both of Macon; his brother, Joseph Eddie (Marjorie) Kerley of Knoxville, TN and his grandchildren.
