Wynelle Pierce Gresham, 94, passed away Sunday May 31, 2026 . A Celebration of her life will be held Monday June 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Griffin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
Wynelle was born in Empire, GA the daughter of the late Henry Columbus Pierce and Robbie Queenie Alford Pierce. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Meade Gresham and her daughter Donna Ethridge. Wynelle was a member of Shurlington Church of The Nazarene. She was a former Director of Children Sesame Day Care Center. She enjoyed genealogy research and learning about her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Vicki (Brian) Grimsley of Gray, Kelly (Gary) Stone of Bonaire, Son in Law, Stan Ethridge; five grandchildren, Merritt (Cody) Brooks, Michael (Neila) Grimsley, Cydney (Sean) Blackwell, Savannah (Tristen) Hall , and Alex Stone. She leaves behind great grandchildren, Kash Brooks, Presley Brooks, Henry Grimsley, Vivien Grimsley, Wilkens Grimsley, Lila Jane Blackwell and Charlotte Nelle Hall. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Scarbary and Leola Thompson and several nieces & nephews.
