Linda was predeceased by her daughter Dawn Castronuovo.
She Is survived by Joseph, her beloved husband of 57 years, her children, Donna Misyak and Joseph Misyak Jr., her beloved grandchildren Michael, Brianna, Matthew, Daniel, Sean and Peter as well as her cherished great-grandchildren Sophia-Lyn, Theron and Axel. She is also survived by her precious constant companion, her Shar-Pei, Teddy.
Linda, along with her husband Joe, were fostered parents for many years. They also hosted exchange students from many different countries over the years. This brought Linda and Joe such joy to see these children flourish and grow.
Linda loved all animals, especially her Shar-peis.
Above all else, Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The love she had for her family brought her happiness and joy her entire life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00am-12:00pm and from 4:00pm-6:00 pm with a funeral home service at 5:30pm at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be sent to Sharpie-Pei Rescue of VA.
