

Adele Alice Frisella, age 74, passed away peacefully October 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and quiet strength. Born in Franklin, New Hampshire, Adele grew up in Manchester and graduated from Memorial High School. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, a testament to her determination and intellect.
Adele dedicated her professional life to public service, retiring as Finance Director for the town of Auburn, NH. Her meticulous work and unwavering integrity earned the respect of colleagues and community members alike.
Outside of work, Adele found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid gardener, a passionate DIY enthusiast, and a devoted animal rescuer. Nature was her sanctuary, and she embraced it with wonder and gratitude. Her wry sense of humor, quiet resilience, and ability to face adversity with grace made her a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her.
Adele was a loving and generous sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her siblings Patricia Frisella, Ralph Frisella, Tony Frisella, Elizabeth Gosselin, and Rebecca Warner; her daughter Samantha Dreihaup (Scott) and son Ryan Lamie (Kelsie); and her seven beloved grandchildren: Alexandra and Jamie Dreihaup, and Adriana, Isabella, Julian, Kingston, and Navy Lamie — who were the light of her life.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Friday, October 24, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and honor Adele’s beautiful life.
Her memory will live on in the gardens she tended, the pets she saved, and the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
