Peter Camberis

Peter served in the NH Army National Guard for 36 years and was deployed twice – during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a longtime member of the Sweeney Post and enjoyed meeting with his brothers on Wednesdays.

He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Camberis; his parents Therapon and Kanela Kamberis, his brothers George and Arthur Kamberis, daughter Janice Deragon, and sister Katherine Somers.

He is survived and missed by his son James Camberis; daughters Joanne Milburn of Oregon, Mary Jane Blanton and husband Dave of Arizona; son-in-law Jeff Deragon; brothers Angelo Camberis and Demetrios Kamberis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4PM-7PM at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St, Manchester NH. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Rd, Manchester NH. Burial will follow immediately at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester NH.
