

Bob was born in St. Albans, Vermont on March 18, 1945, to Joseph and Eunice Lacz. He later lived in Manchester, Auburn and Deering, New Hampshire. In addition to an earlier career in electronics, Bob served proudly for the Air Force/Air National Guard at Pease Air Force Base for refueling and as a mechanic for bombers and aircraft for nearly 30 years. After his military retirement, Bob worked at Freudenberg-NOK for several years.
Bob's earlier hobbies included fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He had a love and talent for gardening and enjoyed sharing his fruits, vegetables and flowers with others. He loved growing daffodils, gladiolas and roses. He had a knack for coaxing his apple and peach trees to produce bountifully. He was also an autobody tinkerer and car enthusiast going back to his youth and the family autobody business.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He was also predeceased by his son, Scott Lacz in 2021 and recently by his former wife, friend and companion, Rita Lacz. He leaves his daughter, Cherie Yamamoto and husband, Wayne; daughter, Lindsey Lacz; sister, Barbara Fite and husband, David; brothers Phil Lacz and wife, Michele; and John Lacz and wife, Terry; and granddaughter, Angela Daly.
Bob's family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Granite VNA. Hospice House in Concord NH for their exceptional care, compassion and kindness shown to him and to our family during his stay there.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, NH.
